Do you like to travel? Visit far-off places? Know of a cool getaway spot closer to home?
Would you like to connect with others who do too, to share stories, get recommendations, and dream about your next travel adventure?
Then we have a group for YOU!
Joyful Journeys fellowship group will have its initial meeting on Sunday January 29th from 4:00 – 5:00 PM in the conference room (the Fishbowl!). Alison Hoke-Fitts will be presenting on the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service and our nation’s amazing national park system, and there will be time for sharing, storytelling, and getting to know each other.
“The idea for this group popped in my head as I was looking at pictures on Facebook of some Trinity members’ vacation photos. I wanted to get more information from them regarding their trips. I wondered what they liked best, what restaurants they would recommend or what they would do differently. We’re all often rushed on Sunday morning; the only way to have these kind of conversations would be to set time aside. I then thought: maybe others want to know this kind of thing too!”
We have members who travel to many places around the country and around the world. We have members who like to travel by plane, by train, by car, by RV. We have members who plan trips that hit famous eateries or national parks. Joyful Journeys will be a place to tell those stories and to hear them, to connect with seasoned travelers, and to make new friends!
If you have questions, contact Alison at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope you can join us for Joyful Journeys!
