Summer camp = fun, games, outdoors, new friends, learning, and so much more! Yet so many of our kids never get to experience these life-changing programs. Yes, sending your child to camp can be a scary thing, we understand. As you look to summer remember that this experience builds extremely important character traits in your child. They learn that they can do fun things without you. They learn about God’s beautiful world in ways we can’t always do at home. They learn to make new friends and grow to love their leaders. Their circles widen, they build confidence in themselves, and they are better prepared for their futures. (Don’t be surprised if they want to stay another week when it’s time to go home!) Work through that fear and send your kids to camp!
At Trinity, we are blessed to have two wonderful Lutheran Camps available to us. Nawakwa in Arendtsville, and Camp Kirchenwald in Colebrook. These camps are both safe, nurturing locations that offer a wide variety of themes to make any kid happy. Day camps, mini-camps, week-long experiences, and 10-day programs are available at both. Adult and family camps are added bonuses for you to consider.
Join us for camp snacks and fun on Sunday, April 2nd at all services. We’ll have brochures for you to look at and past-campers for you to meet and ask questions to. Please join us and learn more about camps! Can’t wait for April 2nd? Visit www.lutherancamping.org for more info today.
