Free Clothing Give-Away and Community Meal

Donations of “new” and “gently used clothing”, infant through adult, will be accepted beginning Wednesday, January 3rd through January 24th. Please mark all donations with gender and size on the outside of each bag or box. Remember to ask family, friends and co-workers if they have any clothing items to donate! Small children’s sizes are always in short supply.

The storage POD will be open daily Monday – Thursday 9am-3pm, Wednesday 6-8pm and Sunday mornings. Reminder: DO NOT place items in the Salvation Army collection bin if intended for Trinity’s event. We do not have access to the contents of this container.

Important dates will be Wednesday, January 24th in the evening when we empty the POD to begin sorting, and then Thursday and Friday during the day as we sort and organize the clothing. A large group of volunteers will be needed the day of the event, Saturday, January 27th! Our doors will open to the public at 9am and close at 12:30pm. A sign-up sheet is located on the Outreach Bulletin Board to volunteer. Even if you can only share a small amount of time, everyone’s help is important and greatly appreciated!

Our Fellowship Committee will be organizing a Community Meal which will begin at 10am until all food items are gone. If you have any questions as to how you can help, please contact Elayne Olson. Please plan on a day of fellowship with your Trinity family and a day of reaching out to the community and making important connections. This cannot be a success without your help!
