Looking Back to Go Forward: Wednesdays During Lent

Trinity is a congregation rooted deeply in a long history of faith practice and community support here in this place. The people of God throughout all times and places have made it a priority to regularly remember the roots of their faith: the past experiences of God’s presence and power that showed their ancestors the way, and that give God’s people in the world today the courage and direction to move forward, seeking God’s will and bearing witness to God’s love.

Join us on Wednesday evenings in Lent (beginning February 21st) for midweek worship in the sanctuary at 7 PM with the scriptural theme of “Looking Back To Go Forward.” There will be dessert fellowship time in Room 209 following the worship service, courtesy of the Fellowship Committee.

Before and/or after the service, you are also invited to take some personal time to experience the prayer space that will be set up in the library. There will be stations for prayer that engage various senses and encourage contemplation. It will also be a quiet and reflective space for you to use for whatever personal devotions you wish. This prayer space will be available on Wednesdays during Lent (beginning 2/21) as well as on Sunday mornings from 8-8:30 AM (the half hour before the first church service) and from 11 AM to 12:30 PM (through the third service and for half an hour afterward). If you can’t join us Wednesdays, please take some time to experience it on Sunday morning.
