Journey Through Holy Week With Us – April 14th to April 28th

Holy Week begins Sunday, April 14th, with Palm Sunday, a Sunday essential to our experience and understanding of Easter! We will follow our normal worship schedule and children are invited to process with palms at all three services.  ROC and adult education classes will be held.

On Maundy Thursday, April 18th, there will be a shared dinner at 5:45pm provided by Trinity’s Fellowship Committee! For those who miss our Lenten “soup gatherings,” this will be a chance to meet, eat, and celebrate our life together. (A sign-up is posted in back of the sanctuary to assist the committee with preparations.) Please consider bringing a dessert to share. Everyone is then encouraged attend the service of contemplation, reflection, and holy communion at 7:00pm.

On Good Friday, April 19th, we will once again share in the intimate and moving “Stations of the Cross” service. This service, which does not include a sermon, is based on readings and special music provided by Trinity’s soloists and musicians. As always, the church will be darkened as we remember the final moments of the earthly life of our savior.

The celebration BEGINS with Easter Sunday on April 21st! Our regular service schedule will be in place, ROC classes will meet, and a beautiful experience surrounding the resurrection of our savior will be shared by all!

Finally, on Sunday, April 28th, we will hold our Easter Cantata, Joseph M. Martin’s “Festival of Faith”, at 11:00am only. The 8:30am and 9:45am services, and ROC, will be held as normal. Once again, with the combined efforts of our musicians, singers, and dancers, this promises to provide a worship service like no other!

We are so blessed at Trinity! Join us as we live out this blessing in this holy and important time of year.
