Starting Sunday, September 15 at 9:30am in Room 209! Join us in studying The Gospel of Mark by Amy-Jill Levine.
Dr. Levine describes herself as an “unorthodox member of an Orthodox synagogue and a Yankee Jewish feminist who, until 2021, taught New Testament in a Christian divinity school in the buckle of the Bible Belt.” AJ was also the first Jew to teach New Testament at Rome’s Pontifical Biblical Institute. It’s probably safe to say that Dr. Levine is very well versed in the New Testament, and her study on Mark should prove to be quite interesting.
