Youth who are in Grades 9-12 are eligible to attend this incredible mission trip. We’ll live at an ELCA Lutheran Church in Fishtown and travel out in small groups each day to serve and learn about the needs in an urban environment.
Use this form to register for an informational meeting to be held on Sunday, August 31 at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. Youth and guardians are invited to attend.
Gardening, food preparation, book organization, and working with animals are just a sampling of what we will do in the city of “Brotherly Love!” Thanks to generous donations from families in our church, this experience is free and considered part of our milestones program for youth at Trinity.
Reflections from past attendees:
“From packing meals to beautifying a local playground to gardening at a recovery home, I met individuals with wisdom greater than any schooling can offer.” Sophia Watson
“(This trip) included many impactful moments that highlighted the value of community service to me.” Corrine Watson
“One of the experiences that has had the most influence on me was a service trip to Philadelphia. Each day, we provided service to a different organization, met new people, and learned important lessons. This was a very meaningful trip, and I am so thankful for this community service experience!” Janelle Miller
