Acolytes and crucifers are extremely important to our worship community – and we need our 3rd-8th grade students for these tasks. Training will take place at 11:45am-12:00pm on Sunday, August 18. You only need to attend one session.
- Students grades 3-5 serve as acolytes. Acolytes light and extinguish the candles and assist with the offering plates.
- Jr. High youth grades 6-8 serve as crucifers. Crucifers process the cross into the church with the first song and carry it out with the final hymn.
Please encourage your youth to participate in these volunteer positions. Not only are they an important part of our time together at church, but they also help to foster important leadership skills in kids!
