Join us for a family picnic and hike at the East Donegal Township Chickies Creek Day Use Area, 1467 Long Ln, Columbia, PA 17512. Due to bridge construction, enter Long Lane from Marietta Pike (Route23) or by Anderson Ferry Road. The 441 entrance to Long Lane is closed.
We’ll gather from 5:30 to 6:45 pm on Wednesday, October 2 for a picnic dinner, then hike together. This is for our K-12 youth groups; however family and friends of all ages are invited!
Grades four and up, be sure to bring creek boots that will also protect against poison ivy! Mr. Spangler will be doing some water exploration with us. Grades K-3 will enjoy a fascinating nature exploration with Ms. Denise!
