The typical schedule for the evening is:
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is our one-week, summer education opportunity for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Please see our website for more details.
Children’s Choir Camp is a one-week, summer camp held at Trinity in early August. Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade spend the week rehearsing a musical production with a Christian message. The children perform the musical for the congregation at special worship services on the following Sunday.
Youth Events are held throughout the year for our junior high and senior high youth. These events include weekend retreats, Jr. High Late Night, Missions Trips and the ELCA Sr. High National Gathering held every three years.
Milestones Ministry: At Trinity, we celebrate important steps along the faith journeys of our children and youth. Our “milestones” are traditions that help our youth see how God is active in their lives, and reminds them how much their church community loves and supports them. Milestones celebrated include Birth, Baptism, Beginning ROC, First Communion, Affirmation of Baptism, Sr. High Pilgrimage and High School Graduation.
Summer Camp with the Lutheran Camping Corporation: Each year Trinity sponsors our children and youth who attend the Christian summer camp programs offered through the Lutheran Camping Corporation. Trinity pays one-half of the cost for each child!
